Creature Camp

Fur and feathers, scales and tails. Why do animals have those things? Creature campers will get an up-close look at all kinds of animals that live right here at the Museum! Use a microscope to investigate different kinds of animal skins. Figure out how to sort animals like a scientist, and investigate what makes us different from a bug and similar to a bear!

Grades 3–5
Junior Zoologists

Join us as we learn about different kinds of vertebrate animals. What animal keeps its house on its back? How do pigs cool off? What do bears like to eat? Do bugs have bones? If you are curious about animals, join us for a week of discovery as we investigate the ways that animals survive and meet live vertebrates that live at the Museum!
