CONTEST RULES

  1. This ticket giveaway is open to those ages 21 and older. Proof of age is required prior to receiving the prize. 
  2. Employees of the Museum of Life and Science, and their respective affiliates and associates and such employees' immediate family members and persons with whom such employees are domiciled are excluded from this contest.
  3. One winner will receive 4 tickets to the Museum of Life and Science's Santa Train event on Friday, December 7 on the 6 p.m. train.
  4. Decisions of the contest officials are final - no substitutions will be available.
  5. By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the internet and picture date storage) which the Museum of Life and Science may deem appropriate.
  6. In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest(s), acknowledges that the Museum of Life and Science may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize(s).
  7. The person(s) whose name(s) is drawn as being the winner(s) of the specific prize will be required to have their picture taken by a Museum of Life and Science staff person or a professional photograher working on behalf of the Museum of Life and Science.
  8. Winners and any guests at the age of majority must sign a release form as prepared and accepted by the Museum of Life and Science acknowledging their acceptance and understanding of the complete contest rules.
  9. Museum of Life and Science retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
  10. This contest is subject to all federal, state and municipal laws.
  11. The Museum of Life and Science reserves the right to withdraw or terminate this contest at any time without prior notice.
  12. Approximate value of prizes varies.
  13. Odds of winning depends on the number of entries.
  14. Entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on November 29, 2012. No mail in entries or fax entries will be accepted. Individuals may enter to win by completing the Museum of Life and Science Santa Train Ticket Giveaway online entry form or by entering onsite  at the Museum of Life and Science located at 433 W. Murray Avenue, Durham, NC 27704
  15. No purchase is necessary to enter the contest
