Basket Making

November 8, 6 – 8 pm

Museum Member $40, General Public $45

Juila Gartrell (sculptor and artist, Radical Repair Workshop) leads this 2 hour workshop on turning natural, forgeable plants into beautiful baskets. Learn about styles and traditions of basketry in North Carolina, and make your very own basket to take home!

Making Wreaths with Native Plants

The Museum’s own Horticulturist extrodinaire Bobbi Jo will lead this festive workshop making wreaths from native plants. Learn to identify and find beautiful Native plants to make your very own wreath for the Holiday Season.
